PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Swimming Pool – Lime & Scale Remover is an acid-free concentrated cleaner. Specially designed to safely remove lime and scale from swimming pool tiles, fiberglass, metal, floors, walls, and all interior swimming pool surfaces.
Works with above and inground pools, spas, and hot tubs.
- Can be used on and above the waterline while pool or spa is in use.
- Use while pools are drained to clean its walls and bottom.

DIRECTIONS
Swimming Pool – Lime & Scale Remover may be used as a concentrate or in dilution.

| Heavy stains and buildup | Use concentrated. Do not dilute. |
Application
- Prewet entire cleaning surface with water
- Apply product directly on the surface with sprayer or nylon sponge.
- Let it set for 2 to 3 minutes, scrub with nylon brush if necessary.
- Wash the treated surface with pressure washer and rinse surface with clean water until stain and foamy residue disappear.
- Repeat above application as needed depending on scale buildups and stains.
- Wait till surface dries completely if stains reappear, repeat above steps, and follow cleaning procedures.
- Use clean water to rinse after each use.
- After cleaning, use a 5% baking soda (Sodium Bicarbonate) and water solution to neutralize remaining rinse water residue before discharging into the drain.

STORAGE AND HANDLING

Wear safety goggles, gloves, and rubber boots. Avoid contact with open wounds or sores, harmful if swallowed, avoid any direct contact with the skin and eyes; may cause irritation. Remove contaminated clothing and DO NOT wear again until thoroughly cleaned. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling.
Keep container closed when not in use. Store out of direct sunlight. Keep from Freezing. Avoid temperatures above 120 °F, or below 40 °F.

The pH. of pool water should be kept within the 7.2 and 7.8 ranges for maximum control and improved sanitizer performance. To obtain an accurate pH. test always make your pH. determination before the daily addition of sanitizer using a reliable test kit. Tests for total alkalinity require a special test kit.

TO CONTROL pH
Scatter the product directly over the pool surface.
Refer to the following table for dosage requirements. Recheck pH after 2 hours of filter operation and repeat if necessary. pH and alkalinity should be checked regularly during the swimming season.
If pH is below 7.2 add nothing.
If pH is between 7.2 and 7.8 add nothing.
If pH is between 7.8 and 8.0 add 8–12 fl oz for every 10,000 gal of water.
If pH is between 8.0 and 8.4 add 16–20 fl oz for every 10,000 gal of water.
If pH is above 8.4 add 24–28 fl oz for every 10,000 gal of water.
It is generally not advisable to add more product than is recommended above.
CAUTION
HIGH ALKALINITY: Obtain a special test kit for total alkalinity. Ideal alkalinity range is 50-100ppm (To reduce total alkalinity add approx. 16–20 fl oz. of product per 10,000 gals to lower total alkalinity approx. 10 ppm).
Do not add water to the product in the container, as severe reaction may result. To prevent accidents, rinse empty container before discarding.
Do not mix with other pool chemicals.
Do not apply near metal fillings or near pool skimmer.
STORAGE AND HANDLING
Keep product away from skin and eyes. Do not swallow or ingest this product. The use of rubber, neoprene, nitrile, or other protective gloves is required where prolonged or extensive use is expected. Remove contaminated clothing and DO NOT wear again until thoroughly cleaned. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling.
Keep container closed when not in use. Store out of direct sunlight. Keep from Freezing. Avoid temperatures above 100 °F, or below 40 °F. Product can be stored up to 12 months. If product is stored for a long time, lightly agitate, or shake well before use. Keep away from moisture.

Lowers pH and Alkalinity in pools
This product is a dry acid, which is used to lower the pH and alkalinity of swimming pool water.

FIRST AID
External: Flush thoroughly with water for 15 minutes.
Internal: Drink plenty of water or milk. Follow with milk of magnesia, vegetable oil, or beaten eggs. Call physician immediately.
Eyes: Wash with water for 15 minutes and get medical attention promptly.

This product is used to raise the pH of swimming pool water. The pH level of the water has a direct bearing on the efficient and economical use of chlorine. Proper chlorination is maintained when the water’s pH values are registered between 7.2 –7.8 pH.
DIRECTIONS
When the pool water pH value is below 7.2 as determined by use of a pH Test Kit, add pH PLUS liquid directly into the pool over the main drain.
