Graffiti-Off paint remover is an effective, biodegradable, water-based formula that attacks paint so it can be easily be sprayed or wiped away. Graffiti-Off is safe for the environment. It works more effectively—or better—than most solvents in the same time and costs less per ounce.

This formula actually breaks the molecular bond between the paint and the substrate surface and is effective for removing graffiti from all types of surfaces including: stucco, concrete, trucks, and street signs. It provides superior performance on the most porous of surfaces such as natural brick and concrete.

Graffiti-Off is the first real alternative to anti-graffiti coatings and the continued painting over of graffiti.

It comes in a handy, ready-to-use, 32-oz spray bottle.

Directions

Surface Preparation

Surfaces to receive water-soluble siloxane should be lightly dampened immediately prior to application. Water-soluble siloxane does not wet a surface that has been previously treated with a water repellent. Do not use in a concentration higher than 3% solids unless prior testing indicates a necessity. The use of higher concentrations may result in the formulation of a white residue. Users should test any concentration on substrate prior to use.

Dilute Nano Siloxane-100-2770-WB to a concentration of 3% solids or less just prior to application. To prepare a 3% solution, mix one gallon (3.78 liters) of Nano Siloxane-100-2770-WB as supplied with 11 gallons (4.16 liters) of water.

After application of the solution, the treated surface should be allowed to dry at least 24 hours to develop maximum water repellency.

This interval may be shortened somewhat by force drying at temperatures up to 149°C (300°F). While this removes the water quickly, time must be allowed for the curing reaction between Nano Siloxane-100-2770-WB and the surface being treated; CO2 streams do not appear to reduce the cure time appreciably.

CLEANING STEPS

Make a test panel before general cleaning. Protect and test all non-masonry surfaces. Reaction time will vary depending on buildup level. For all applications always apply bottom-to-top to avoid streaking. Apply using a pump-up sprayer, brush, or roller. Polyethylene (Garden or Hudson) or stainless-steel sprayers are recommended to avoid gradual breakdown of parts. For spot cleaning use trigger spray bottles.

Dilution: 1 part cleaner to 1 or 2 parts water.

Exterior Cleaning

  • Prewet surface.
  • Apply diluted cleaner onto the surface with an air-less spray pump.
  • Scrub surface with a soft, fibered masonry nylon brush.
  • Let set for 2‒3 minutes; Allow the cleaner to react, emulsify, and break down the deposits. Do not let cleaning solution dry on the concrete.
  • Rinse off with water or pressure washing equipment (3 gallons per minute at 600‒800 psi). Always use caution when using high pressure rinsing, take care to not damage the underlying surface. To avoid streaking, always keep lower area wet.
  • Repeat above steps until stains are removed.

Interior Cleaning

  • Provide adequate ventilation for air circulation.
  • Protect floor with poly film or another appropriate method. Protect plumbing fixtures, doorknobs, light fixtures, etc.
  • Follow the procedures above (exterior cleaning). If a water hose cannot be used, use a sponge or brush for rinsing. Thorough rinsing is a must.
  • Best practices dictate working on smaller, more manageable, areas to obtain the best results.

General Spot Cleaning

  • Spray diluted Non-Acid Concrete & Masonry Cleaner on the stain/spot and affected areas.
  • Wait 30‒60 seconds and scrub the stain/spot gently with a very soft nylon brush, then rinse.
  • If the stain/spot remains, repeat the above steps until the stain/spot disappears.

Note: Avoid applying water after removing dirt, stains & efflorescence, which would reactivate efflorescence inside the concrete or mortar.

Removal, Clean up & Resealing

Removal & Clean Up

After cleaning the surface, simply let the surface dry. If needed, sweep or brush clean.

Collect all dry waste material for proper disposal and dispose in compliance with Federal, State and local regulations. Use 5% baking soda solution to neutralize spills on the ground.

Resealing

Allow surface to dry completely before re-coating with a recommended EST Inc. sealer and waterproofing product to protect surface and to avoid reformation of efflorescence and to make future cleaning easier.

Contact EST Inc. representative for additional technical assistance and specific cleaning and water proofing product recommendations based on the surface.

Paint Equipment Cleaner-P2 is designed to clean paint guns, sprayers, nozzle and all paint-handling equipment.

This unique product is designed to clean and flush all types of paint handling equipment, like sprayer, supply line, pump, and paint mixers. It is safe on supply lines and all metal parts.  This product contains special anti rust additives and fast acting emulsifiers to remove dry and gummy paint residue from paint handling equipment.

FEATURES

Paint Equipment Cleaner is comprised of organic, terpene hydrocarbons and inorganic solvent blends to boost cleaning power without using flammable and hazardous solvents.

HOW IT WORKS

It works by lifting paint from the spray gun surface rather than dissolving it. If it is a closed system, it will re-circulate the solution through two filters to remove paint solids. This process effectively cleans the solution for extended periods of time.

The cleaning solution is flushed through the paint gun in a similar way to other automatic paint-gun cleaners. The cleaning unit is equipped with continuous filtration to remove paint solids and refresh the cleaning solution. Filters are changed on average once per month to maintain the solution. Heavily-soiled paint guns and pots should be pre-cleaned to conserve cleaning solution.

Directions

When cleaning pump and line pour Paint Equipment Cleaner in the pump let stand for 10 to 15 minutes then flush line by spraying. Repeat application if needed. Rubberized and harder to clean paint may require longer soaking time.

When cleaning dry and hard paint residue, soak equipment into this cleaning solution for 1 to 2 hours then remove loose residue by scraping or rinsing off with high-pressure water. Repeat above application if needed.
